It was also where she fell in love with the tropical NQ lifestyle and was excited to be staying up North to work at the Tully clinic!

Hannah enjoys all challenges of mixed practice, with a particular interest in soft tissue surgery, small animal medicine, and everything exotics and wildlife.

Outside the clinic, Hannah is kept busy by her fur babies "Lilo" and "Stich" and also enjoys playing piano, going out to the reef spearfishing with her partner, and swimming/cycling/running.

Dr Maxine

Veterinarian (BVSc)

I'm Maxine and I grew up in Ingham. I have always wanted to be a vet since I was little for as far back as I can remember. I went to James Cook University after leaving school and graduated in 2013. I have since been in Mackay for the last 5 and a half years at a wonderful clinic there and have now moved back to Ingham.

I love being a vet - my favourite part of being a vet is getting to meet so many animals each day and getting to spend my days filled with them. I have a particular interest in all things 'small animals' - particularly small animal medicine and opthalmology. I currently have a cat named Lilly and in my spare time I love spending time with family and friends.

Dr Nicola

At the end of 2019 she moved back home to be with her family where she started working at Tropical Vets’ North Shore Clinic. At our North Shore practice Dr Nicola has been able to continue her equine work whilst still working with small animals from time to time.

While Madi loves all the variety that mixed practice offers, she has a particular interest in ultrasonography and feline medicine.  This might have something to do with Madi being a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady.  Her cat Willow won't allow any more cats in the family, so Madi settled for a very loved dog named Moxxi (pictured).

Madi would love to spend most of her free time in the water - Water-skiing, scuba diving or just a swim in the creek.  On dry land, Madi likes a good card game and spending time with family and friends.
