Dr Graham Lauridsen
(BVSc - Senior Veterinarian (Director))
Graham started working in Tully in 1996 and enjoys all aspects of Veterinary work in Tropical North Queensland. Working with ‘All Creatures, great and small’, he can never decide which animal species is actually his favourite. He can be out with cattle and horses one day, and in the clinic dealing with a dog with a broken leg the next.
Graham works in conjunction with the Qld Department of Environment on the region’s iconic endangered species, the Cassowary, and has written several scientific articles on their care and anaesthesia. He also travels into Cape York to assist the Aboriginal Shire Councils in improving the welfare of the animals that live in these communities.

Dr Madi
Veterinarian (BVSc (Clinic Manager))
Madi grew up on a cattle property near Richmond QLD. She graduated from JCU in 2017 then spent 3 years working at a mixed practice in Mackay before moving to the Burdekin.
While Madi loves all the variety that mixed practice offers, she has a particular interest in ultrasonography and feline medicine. This might have something to do with Madi being a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady. Her cat Willow won't allow any more cats in the family, so Madi settled for a very loved dog named Moxxi (pictured).
Madi would love to spend most of her free time in the water - Water-skiing, scuba diving or just a swim in the creek. On dry land, Madi likes a good card game and spending time with family and friends.
